The menu at Kefita Coffee is a delightful reflection of Ethiopian flavors paired with classic coffeehouse favorites. The butter croissant and cold brew were pretty good. The donuts were more on the cake side but good as well. My friend had an espresso and chocolate croissant, he said the espresso was great.

Inside this renovated home, the atmosphere is so fun and interesting! I had a sambusa for the first time. It was delicious! Each room upstairs had a different feel to it, the music was relaxing and the staff was so friendly. Highly recommend this place!

Probably one of the best coffee shops I’ve been to in Houston. Cozy atmosphere and 10/10 customer service. They were kind enough to bring our drinks and food to the second floor. Every drink tastes amazing and the consistency with their quality and service is awesome. Give it a try and I’m confident it’ll be your go to coffee shop!

Vibe- Very cute coffee shop with a home vibe! There’s a nice amount of seating inside and there’s an outside space as well. Customer service- Great! Food/drinks- I got the ruby red that is an iced dirty matcha; it was soooooooo good. Sadly, it isn’t a regular menu item but it was made in honor of the co-owners birthday. Maybe they’ll bring it back because it was soooooo good Parking- There was street parking that should suffice.

Looooooove this spot!!! The vibe is so chill and laid back. Very cozy, like a home feel. The service was great. The owner was very knowledgeable and welcoming. The spot was very clean and spacious. There are 2 levels. A lot of spaces are available. There is indoor and outdoor seating. There is also a balcony. Free street parking. Love the selection of music. I could have easily stayed there all day. It was hard for me to leave. So peaceful. I purchased the abyssinia latte (hot), sambusa and small donuts (carrot cake, caramel) which come as a pair. Everything was tasty. My favorite were the small donuts. OMG!!!! Soooooo delicious The carmel was my favorite out of the two. There are other flavors to choose from. I will definitely be back to try the flight and other pastries and food items. Check em them out. You won't be disappointed.

First off, the place is so homey, might be because it's in a residential house that's been converted into a coffee shop, but besides that they did an amazing job of curating such a cozy vibe. The decor is beautiful, and the music they play sets such a great mood. I got the Abyssinia Latte and two sambusas. I think the latte has to be one of the best lattes I've ever had in my life! Kudos to the barista (someone wearing a beanie and glasses who was also super friendly) the espresso was perfectly pulled, not too bitter-and it was sweetened to just the right level. The spice blend was heavenly! And the sambusas were top tier as well. I have never been to an Ethiopian coffee shop before but I think I have to start frequenting them. Usually when I go to a coffee shop, I feel like I need to listen to my own music through headphones, and I always end up adding sweetener to my drink because I find most places burn their espresso making the latte taste bitter. But I didn't have to do neither of those things at Kefita! I was happily sipping my perfect latte and enjoying the music they were playing very much. I wish I was a Houston local so I could always come here.

Tried Kefita Coffee in Houston and really liked it! It’s a cozy place with a nice vibe and friendly people. The coffee was strong and full of flavor. I also got to learn a bit about Ethiopian coffee culture, which was cool. A great spot if you want something different from your usual coffee shop.

This is my recent discovery. I loved the cozy rooms each decorated differently. People can meet and chat or they can open a laptop and work/study. Their spicy coffee specials are great adventure to try. Great quality coffee and pastries. I loved the cream cheese filled pastry, super delicious.
